Tropical Depression 04W is now weakening as it crosses the islands in the Visayas Region. The system was last located approximately 100km southeast of Cebu City. Maximum sustained winds are now down to 35kph with gusts of up to 55kph. TD 04W is moving west southwestward at 10kph.

Latest satellite image shows poorly organized clouds moving across much of Visayas. There really isn't much left with this storm as of the moment. The circulation is still intact but lacks any strong convective activity. The continued interaction with land is not helping the system develop.

Radar Image from Cebu (ClimateX PH)

Radar image out of Cebu City shows moderate rains are still affecting numerous islands in Visayas. There could still be some minor flooding as especially in Southern Cebu and parts of Negros. Rains will linger in the region through tomorrow before starting to taper off. For the latest radar image, click HERE (ClimateX PH Website)

TD 04W is no longer expected to intensify. This will be our final update on this system.
