Latest satellite image shows Wutip continuing to show improvements today with convective banding wrapping around the low-level center. Outflow also continue to improve especially towards the north. Wutip remains in an area of weak wind shear and warm sea surface temperature which is allowing the system to steadily intensify today.

Tropical Storm Wutip is forecast to move generally westward under the influence of a sub-tropical ridge in China. It will also continue intensifying and could become a Typhoon in two days' time. By Monday, the system will move towards Vietnam bringing rains and strong winds in the region.

We'll have another update tomorrow morning.
