Latest satellite image shows there is very little convection left with Wutip. It made landfall in Vietnam as a typhoon yesterday and has rapidly weakened since, as it moved inland. Dong Hoi,Vietnam was near the landfall point and received strong winds and heavy rainfall accumulations of more than 250mm. Wutip moved westward bringing stormy conditions into Laos.

Tropical Depression Wutip should fully dissipate later today. Any rain showers that are currently lingering in the region should also begin to disappear by tomorrow. This will be the final update for Tropical Depression Wutip.

We'll have full update on Tropical Storm Fitow (Bagyong Quedan) which is currently developing east of the Philippines.
