Typhoon Nock-Ten (Juaning) Update #11

 This is an intermediate update.

Typhoon Nock-Ten (Bagyong Juaning) has made landfall near Dipaculao, Aurora approximately 40km northeast of Baler or about 190km north northeast of Manila. Maximum sustained winds upon landfall are around 120kph with gusts of up to 150kph. Juaning is now moving west northwestward over Aurora at about 15kph. It will then pass through the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, and La Union, weakening to a tropical storm along the way.

The following VIS image form RAMMB-CIRA shows the eye of Juaning making landfall in Luzon.


As of 11am PAGASA has raised Signal #2 for Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Kalinga, Ilocos Sur, Mt Province, Isabela, La Union, Benguet, Ifugao, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bataan, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Polillo Island, and Metro Manila. Signal #1 is in effect for Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Cagayan, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Mindoro Provinces, Lubang Island, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, andBurias Island.
