Tropical Update

The low pressure area east of the Philippines continues to gather strength and is now on the verge of becoming a tropical depression with JTWC giving a Good chance for development. As for the forecasts, computer models predict a continuous movement to the northwest. Whether it will make landfall in Luzon or not is still uncertain, however. Nevertheless, moderate rain and strong winds will begin to affect Visayas and the Bicol Region within the next day or two.
