Tropical Depression 02W Update #5 (FINAL)

Tropical Depression 02W has now passed the Northern Mariana Islands. It was located approximately 600km northeast of Guam. Winds have decreased to 45kph. TD 02W continues to move generally to the northeast at around 30kph. It is now quickly dissipating as it interacts with unfavorable conditions; JTWC has issued its final warning because of this.

Another area of potential cyclone development has been spotted southwest of the Philippines. This is from the remnants of TD 01W. It has a fair chance of developing according to JTWC; however, most computer models are not showing a storm forming out of this LPA.
