TD 01W Update #3 (FINAL)

Tropical Depression 01W is now beginning to weaken due to unfavorable conditions in the South China Sea. Maximum winds decreased to 45kph. Convective activity is waning around the exposed center. TD 01W is forecast to fully dissipate within the next 24 hours hence the final warning has now been issued by the JTWC.

Meanwhile, a low pressure area east of the Philippines has been given a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone within the next day or so. Deep convection as well as somewhat favorable conditions in the Pacific is allowing the system to slowly organize. If it does become a storm, it is not expected to significantly affect the Philippines. Based on computer models, this system will slowly move to the northeast, away from the country.
