Tropical Depression 18W is now making landfall in Central Vietnam. Maximum sustained winds remain at 45kph. TD 18W is moving west northwestward at 10kph. It will continue with its present movement towards the west into Laos. It should rapidly dissipate in the next 24-48 hours, although heavy rain may still linger in the region for a few more days.
This is the final update for Tropical Depression 18W. There are no tropical systems elsewhere in the Pacific right now.
