A new tropical depression has formed today. It is located east of Vietnam and will not affect the Philippines in any way.
Tropical Depression 19W has maximum sustained winds of 45kph. The storm is moving west-northwestward at 12kph. TD 19W is not forecast to intensify significantly. It will be making landfall in the next two days which will also hinder development. Nevertheless, TD 19W will be bringing widespread rain to the southern half of Vietnam this week.
