Typhoon Fanapi (Inday) is now accelerating towards Taiwan. Maximum winds remain at 195kph. Outer rain bands are now beginning to affect Eastern Taiwan. Cities along the eastern coast are also beginning to experience tropical storm-force gusts. Sea conditions will continue to worsen as rough surf and storm surge from the storm make their way into the coastlines. Landfall is within 6 hours.
