TS Lionrock is now accelerating to the north-northeast. Winds remain at 95kph. However, we no longer expect Lionrock to be a typhoon. It's still forecast to absorb the remnants of Namtheun before turning westward and making landfall on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Namtheun has been downgraded to a tropical depression as it continues to weaken off the Taiwan Strait. It will continue moving to the west southwest, eventually dissipating over land.
