TS Kompasu (Glenda) continues to strengthen as it moves across the northeastern part of the PAR. Maximum winds and gusts have increased to 100kph and 130kph, respectively. Kompasu is forecast to steadily intensify as it exits the PAR late today. It might attain typhoon status before passing over Okinawa.
