TY Conson has undergone rapid intensification over the past 12 hours. Latest reports indicate that sustained winds are now at 120kph (1-min average) with gusts reaching up to 160kph. The system is moving westward at 25kph. Furthermore, Conson is likely to continue moving west and could threaten Central Luzon, including Manila. Conson could make landfall in the province of Aurora by late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
