TS Conson (Basyang)

Tropical Storm Conson (Basyang) continues to intensify as it moves towards Northern Luzon. Sustained winds have increased to 85kph, as does the maximum gust which is now at 100kph. TS Conson continues to move westward at around 20kph. PAGASA have raised Public Storm Signal Number 1 to the provinces of Cagayan, Aurora, and Isabela. Conson is expected to continue strengthening due to favorable conditions in the area. Landfall is likely to happen in NE Luzon on Tuesday evening (Philippine Time).
