Latest satellite image shows Pabuk continuing to develop in the vicinity of the Marianas Islands. The low-level center continues to improve with convective banding wrapping around the center. Pabuk is located in a favorable region with warm sea temperatures, weak wind shear, and good environment for outflow. Pabuk should also continue bringing scattered rains across Marianas and down south into Guam.

Tropical Storm Pabuk is forecast to continue intensifying supported by the favorable environment in the Pacific. It will also move northwesterly and will move near Iwo To in the Ogasawara Islands of Japan by tomorrow. Pabuk could also become a Typhoon by Monday and will continue heading northward across the Pacific.

We'll have another update tomorrow.
