3-Day Forecast (Mar. 2)

Issued (0930 UTC) 530pm PhT 030213

IR Image from NOAA

A cold-front moving across the Pacific could enhance some light rains across Northern Luzon. Behind the front, a weak surge of the Northeast Monsoon will be felt bringing temperatures down slightly especially in Northern Luzon. Farther to the south, rains associated with the Easterlies could approach and impact parts of Visayas and Mindanao over the next few days.

3-Day Forecast (NOT OFFICIAL!)

Much of Luzon will be mostly dry except for parts of Northern and Eastern Luzon where chances of light rains are higher due to the cold-front. Parts of the Bicol Region could also see some light rains over the next few days. For Visayas and Mindanao, we are watching some rain showers moving in from the east. These could impact the region over the next few days. However, the rains are not forecast to be very heavy and should not last for more than a few hours. No Tropical Cyclones in the forecast for this week.

We'll have our next Update on Tuesday, March 5.
