Typhoon Saola and Tropical Storm Damrey Video Update

This is our latest update on Typhoon Saola (Bagyong Gener) just east of Taiwan and near the Japanese Islands and Tropical Storm Damrey which is moving through south of Kyushu. Saola continues to slowly intensify as it heads slowly to the north and is forecast to become a Category 3 typhoon by the JTWC. It could brush the northeastern part of Taiwan tonight or early tomorrow morning and then make landfall in Eastern China by early Friday morning as a strong typhoon. Damrey, on the other hand, has also intensified as it moves across the islands located just south of Kyushu; JTWC has also upgraded the system to a typhoon. The system maintain its present intensity, if not strengthen slightly, before making landfall in Eastern China (north of Shanghai) tomorrow afternoon (Thursday).

We'll have our Text Updates for both systems in about an hour.
