Latest satellite image continues to depict a very organized system despite the weak convective signature. Banding remains tight around the core and the system seems to be exhibiting good poleward outflow. The system will remain in somewhat favorable conditions in the next 12 hours but should start to weaken as it continues to move north.

Current forecasts are expecting Kirogi to approach the Kuril Islands tomorrow evening. Expect rains and strong winds in this area. Light rains could also affect parts of Hokkaido and rough surf could also impact parts of Eastern Honshu.

We'll have another update tomorrow.
