Typhoon Saola (Gener) and TS Damrey Video Update

**If you have any reports of storm damages in your area, please share them with us by commenting below or sending us an email at philippineweather@yahoo.com**

This is our latest update on Typhoon Saola (Bagyong Gener) northeast of Luzon and Tropical Storm Damrey south of Japan. Saola continues to slowly intensify as it heads slowly to the north; in fact, JTWC has already upgraded the system to a typhoon. It could brush the northern part of Taiwan by Tuesday evening and then make landfall in Eastern China by Thursday morning as a strong typhoon. Damrey, on the other hand, remains weak as it moves towards the Ogasawara Islands. The system is expected to slowly intensify and could brush Kyushu by Thursday.

Note: The winds differ in the video compared to the Text Updates because the video uses updates from JMA while our text updates use JTWC. The video also used PAGASA Warnings from 11am. Latest Text Updates will include warnings from 5pm today.

We'll have our Text Updates for both storms in half an hour.
