Tropical Depression Vicente Update #11 [FINAL]

Vicente continues to weaken over Southern China and has now been downgraded to a Tropical Depression.  It was last located approximately 210km north of Hanoi. Maximum sustained winds are now down to 45kph with gusts of up to 65kph. Vicente is currently moving westward at 30kph.

The core of Vicente continues to degrade and the system is expected to fully dissipate later today. Nevertheless, Vicente and its remnants will still continue bringing rains across China and Northern Vietnam. Satellite images still shows onshore flow bringing rains as far west as the Hong Kong area. Even some areas in Guangdong Province still reported around 50mm last night. In Guangxi, rainfall amounts of 50 to 100mm were also recorded in some spots. Hanoi and the rest of Vietnam should also see the same rainfall amounts throughout today, along with breezy conditions.

Tropical Depression Vicente will continue moving towards the west, and will cross into Yunan Province later today. The remnants will still bring scattered rains in the region so continue monitoring the news for warnings and forecasts for your area. Both the JMA and JTWC have given their final warnings for Vicente. Likewise, this will be our final update on this system. We'll have our Tropical Update later this afternoon.
