Tropical Depression 08W has maintained its strength over the past six hours. It continues to move westward at around 20kph. Maximum sustained winds are still around 55kph, despite an increase in Dvorak numbers. Water Vapor imagery shows an upper level low northwest of the system that continues to suppress development on the northwestern side of the storm. Forecasts remain largely unchanged.
