TS Sarika (Dodong) Update #3

The tropical depression west of Luzon has now been upgraded into a Tropical Storm, the third this season. TS Sarika (Dodong) was last located approximately 330km NW of Dagupan City or about 310 WSW of Laoag City. TS Sarika is accelerating away from Luzon, moving NW at 20kph. Maximum sustained winds are at 65kph with gusts reaching up to 85kph.

All signal warnings have been dropped by PAGASA. However, areas in Western and Southern Luzon will still experience scattered rain showers due to the SW Monsoon.

TS Sarika is forecast to continue its present movement, finally exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility in a few hours.

Based on its current movement and information from computer models, we might have to shift our forecast a little bit to the left (west). We will update our forecast track on our 3pm post.
