Tropical Storm Megi continues to strengthen as it moves to the west. Maximum sustained winds are at 110kph; Megi is moving west northwest at 15kph. Convective banding continues to improve and recent recon data suggests that an eyewall is beginning to form.
Tropical Storm Megi is expected to be upgraded into typhoon status by morning.
