Tropical Depression 14W Update #2

Tropical Depression 14W crossed the island of Hainan on Tuesday. It is now approximately 500km west-southwest of Hong Kong. Maximum winds are still at 55kph. TD 14w is moving to the northwest at 10kph. TD 14W is not forecast to significantly strengthen due to unfavorable conditions in the region. It might actually dissipate before Friday over the South China Sea.
