TS Dianmu Update #05

Tropical Storm Dianmu has slightly intensified and is now packing winds of up to 100kph (Korean Meteorological Administration estimates that the winds are around 110kph) and gusts of up to 150kph. It is approximately 350nautical miles south-southwest of Seoul, South Korea. It is moving north at a speed of 20kph.

No major changes in the forecast. Dianmu is expected to make landfall in SW S. Korea Wednesday morning (RP Time); the storm could still intensify before landfall. Dianmu will then turn north-northeastward and pass just north of Busan. It will exit the country late Wednesday/early Thursday as a weak tropical storm.
