Typhooon Ramil Update

Ramil continues to weaken and has moved directly westward in the last 12 hours. Top sustained winds have decreased to 150kph and gustiness to 195kph. PAGASA continues to raise signal warnings across Northern Luzon in anticipation of Ramil's arrival. Ramil will remain a Category 2 typhoon. It will then head WSW by Wednesday and that could help the system intensify again and attain Cat 3. Landfall intensity will be between these categories. Timing has not completely changed with Thursday still the time for landfall although moved a little to Thursday afternoon/night.

Another round of forecast maps, wave heights, and rainfall accumulation will be posted Wednesday afternoon.
