Typhoon Ramil Update (6am)

Typhoon Ramil continues to weaken as it moves towards Northern Luzon. Latest data shows Ramil now has winds of 190kph, down from its peak intensity of 250kph. It still moving WNW but slightly increased its speed--now 20kph. It should remain as a Cat 4 typhoon in the next 12-24 hours but could weaken further to just Cat 3 before it makes landfall in Luzon by Thursday. It will continue to track west-northwestward but will turn to the southwest once the Ridge up north starts to strengthen. Further updates and forecasts will be posted in the next post at around 2pm PST.
