Latest satellite image shows Fung-Wong is developing a large eye-feature with convective bands wrapping around the circulation center. Meanwhile, southwesterly inflow continue to bring rains across parts of Northern Luzon. Furthermore, strong winds of up to 100kph have toppled trees and power lines across Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. Nearby provinces are also experiencing similar stormy conditions.

Fung-Wong will continue moving slowly northward tonight and will make landfall in Southern Taiwan by tomorrow morning. Heavy rains and strong winds will end across Luzon tomorrow and will shift north towards Taiwan. Up to 300mm of rain are possible in Taiwan over the next 24 to 48 hours. Even parts of Eastern China will see stormy conditions tomorrow, especially along the coastal areas of Fujian Province.

We'll have another update tomorrow morning.
