Presently, the easterlies and a weak northeast monsoon are bringing scattered rains across Visayas and parts of Mindanao. While the rains have generally been light, some areas have seen around 30mm in the past 24 hours. Rain will continue to be sporadic and light throughout this region this weekend. To the north, partly cloudy skies will dominate the weather for tomorrow. A cold-front will be passing tomorrow and could enhance some light rains across Northern Luzon by Sunday and could also impact parts of the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas by Monday.

Finally, we are watching a low pressure area across the Pacific which could head towards the Philippines by next week. Right now, the potential for development is low. However, as the system heads westward, it could lead to some widespread rains across Mindanao and even into Visayas.

3-Day Forecast (NOT OFFICIAL!)

We'll have another update on Monday, February 18.
