Some cities have recorded 100 to as much as 150mm of rain over the past two days especially across Northern Mindanao. Parts of Eastern and Central Visayas also reported seeing light rains and even thunderstorms. Meanwhile, cool weather continues to affect the northern parts of the Philippines. Many cities across Northern Luzon (such as Laoag, Dagupan, and Clark) are getting down into the upper teens (16 to 19C) during the early morning hours. High-altitude cities are also reporting their coldest temperatures this season with Baguio recording 10 to 12C this week.

Cool weather from the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will continue to affect the Philippines for the next two days before temperatures start to moderate once again. Rain showers will also linger across Central and Southern portions of the country with chances of thunderstorms especially in the afternoon and early evening hours.
