Invest 91W is now moving across the South China Sea, away from the Philippines. It brought nearly 300mm of rain during these past 3 days, with the heaviest being reported across Bicol Region and Visayas Islands. Due to increasing wind shear and lower sea surface temperatures, chances of development is now slim. Nevertheless, the presence of 91W and the ITCZ will still bring rain showers across Central and Northern Luzon, as well as Palawan area with amounts less than 100mm. Scattered rain showers and/or thunderstorms could pop up elsewhere.
