Typhoon Chaba Update #18
Typhoon Chaba is now accelerating towards the northeast. It continues to weaken and is now down to a Category 1 typhoon. Maximum winds are at 140kph with wind gusts of up to 165kph. Chaba was last located 630km southwest of Tokyo, Japan; it is moving northeastward at 35kph. The system is now bringing heavy rain to numerous parts of Honshu.
